OUR STORY

Labradors have always been part of my life, but my greatest dream was to one day become a breeder. When you want something deeply enough, you find a way to make it happen — and that’s how Ndoto Labradors was born. Ndoto means “dream” in Swahili, a perfect blend of my love for Africa and my lifelong wish to fill my home with Labradors.

We are proud registered breeders of yellow, black, and chocolate Labradors. Team Ndoto is our family: myself, my husband Chris, and our twin boys, Tom and Archie. We live on a beautiful acreage in Rosebank, not far from Byron Bay in Northern NSW. Our love for animals extends well beyond our Labs — we also share our home with our donkeys, Dalton and Phylo, two alpacas, and plenty of chooks. Alongside our gorgeous girls and Ben, our much‑loved solo boy, it makes for a wonderfully full and lively household.

We don’t use kennels — every one of our dogs lives as part of our family, moving freely between indoors and outdoors as they please. They’ve grown up alongside our children, who are now 19, and our puppies are whelped inside our home, becoming familiar with all the sounds and rhythms of a busy family environment.

All of our dogs undergo hip, elbow, eye, and DNA testing before breeding. We take great care in selecting exceptional sires for each litter, and we take enormous pride in the beautiful temperaments and personalities of the puppies we raise for approved forever homes.

We are incredibly grateful for the guidance we received in our early years from some of the most respected names in the Labrador community.
