Peggy is our precious girl, born on 12 April 2025. Her arrival came at an incredibly emotional time for us—just weeks after we lost our home in the devastating March fire.
She made her entrance into the world in a tiny rented farmhouse in the middle of nowhere, with her proud chocolate mum Jodie and her blonde dad Ben never far from the action.
From the moment she arrived, Peggy felt like a gift we didn’t know we needed. She has been a bright, steady light for our family—pure sweetness wrapped in a bundle of mischief. Even as a tiny pup, she had a spark in her eye that said, “Don’t worry, I’ve got this.” And she really did. She brought laughter back into the house long before we were settled in our new home.
Peggy is full of personality—equal parts gentle and cheeky. One minute she’s snuggled into your lap like the softest little shadow, and the next she’s trotting off with a sock, a shoe, or anything she thinks might get a giggle.
She has a way of reminding us that joy can grow in the most unexpected places, and that new beginnings often arrive on four paws.
She is resilience, hope, and a whole lot of Labrador charm rolled into one beautiful girl.
Ruby joined our family from Bonnsway Labradors in Coffs Harbour—the same wonderful place our original girl, Martha, came from. With Di at Bonnsway guiding us through so much of our Labrador journey, it felt only natural to welcome another one of her beautiful girls into our home.
And then came Ruby, bursting into our lives with her bright eyes, boundless energy, and that unmistakable Bonnsway charm.
She is vibrant, spirited, and delightfully cheeky, with a personality that fills every corner of the house.
But more than anything, Ruby has become Mum’s girl through and through. She sleeps curled up beside me every night, follows me from room to room, and keeps a quiet watch over me as if it’s her life’s purpose. Her loyalty is unwavering, her affection endless, and her presence brings a softness to every day.
Ruby loves deeply and wholeheartedly, and she gives that love with such purity that it’s impossible not to be completely smitten with her. She is sunshine wrapped in fur, and we adore her more than words can say.

Lizzie is our cheeky girl—full of spark, beauty, and a whole lot of attitude. As the daughter of Ruby and Ben, she carries the very best of both her mum and dad, wrapped up in one irresistibly gorgeous package.
Born on 24 November 2024, she has grown into the classic mischievous teenager of the family, and we wouldn’t have her any other way.
She is always the first to dig a hole (usually right where you don’t want one), mastermind an escape from the yard, or launch herself into our laps as if she’s still a tiny puppy. Her antics keep us laughing, shaking our heads, and completely smitten all at once. There’s a twinkle in her eye that tells you she’s already planning her next adventure—or her next cuddle.
For all her mischief, Lizzie’s heart is pure gold. She loves fiercely, snuggles deeply, and has a way of melting us with one look. She is joy, chaos, and love bundled into one beautiful Labrador, and she fills our home with life every single day.
And this photo of her sleeping so sweetly? Completely deceiving. She’s only ever that angelic after creating absolute chaos.

Agatha—Agi, as we lovingly call her—is the beautiful chocolate daughter of Elsie (now retired) and Buddy (who lives with Nat, Sam and Zander in Federal).. She is a gentle soul who adores affection, and there is nothing she loves more than curling up beside us for a long, cosy cuddle on the couch. She is the definition of a love‑soaked Labrador.
Agi’s journey hasn’t always been easy. After the fire, she struggled deeply with the sudden change and confusion. Her world shifted overnight, and she felt it. One of our kind puppy familities took her in for a while, but it quickly became clear that her heart was still with us. We brought her home, wrapped her back into the rhythm of our family, and slowly but surely she found her way again.
Today, Agi is completely back to her bright, affectionate self—happy, settled, and full of love. She carries a quiet resilience and a sweetness that makes her one of the most comforting companions in our home.

Ben is our resident man about the house—our one and only boy—and he fills that role with the gentlest heart. He is the son of Betty and the great‑great grandson of our beloved Martha, carrying forward a lineage we are incredibly proud of. Sensitive, sweet, and a complete softie, he is the biggest “woose” in the most endearing way, with a personality that melts everyone who meets him.
He is also exceptionally well built, with a hip/elbow score of 4:0—something we are very proud of and a testament to his strong, healthy lines. But beyond the numbers, Ben is the most affectionate male we’ve ever known. He is sweet beyond words, deeply loyal, and impossibly handsome. He knows it too—he carries himself with quiet confidence and a touch of charm that is impossible to resist.
Ben takes his role as a sire seriously and naturally. He has fathered many beautiful puppies, and when they arrive, he is a gentle, attentive presence—curious, calm, and wonderfully patient. Watching him with his babies is one of the many reasons he holds such a special place in our family.
